In the computer world, refurbished computers means used, or possibly old computer equipment, that have been restored to “like new” condition. Most refurbished computers have been sent back to the factory to fix flaws – whether the flaws are in the appearance or inner workings on the computer.  

The term refurbished computer usually refers to hardware components of a computer that have been updated with newer parts to update the technology or replaced with similar components.Often, companies who lease electronic devices, such as computers, may refurbish the computers once they come off lease so that they can sell them.
